"... and a kind soul was he. Jauru was a man that came to us as a stranger, but to all of us he never was a stranger. He took us into his heart, and showed us that he was a man of true heart. Why anyone would want to murder him is beyond comprehension, but we must find love in our hearts. Do not dwell on the deeds of yesterday. We are here today to pay homage to a great man, and to find love for those he leaves behind."
At those words I saw Father Mahar look directly into my eyes. I averted them and stared at the floor.
At this moment I didn't want anybody's love. How could they understand. I had seen my uncle being killed but couldn't tell any of them about it.
Suddenly the room fell utterly quiet. I cursed silently to myself. I knew what was happening and I was powerless to do anything about it.
Time had stopped again.
I didn't know if I could take it this time. My uncle was a powerful timestopper, and he always told me to instantly freeze and hold my position no matter what I was doing. But I couldn't bear to do this again, here and now.
Why was it happening so soon again?
Just before I fell asleep, I had to hold my position for hours. I was already tired, not to mention extremely bored.
I decided to go against my uncle's teachings and cautiously raised my head and looked about. I used my eyes like my uncle had taught me, before I slowly looked about the room. Everyone was caught in-between the moment. They were perfectly frozen. I saw a tear that had fallen from my neighbor Master Jaimi's eye and was just hanging in mid air.
I stared at the tear and relived yesterday in my mind.

JAURU

"Einu, pay attention to what you are doing."
I looked up at my uncle. I was on the ground. Somehow while I was chopping wood I had missed the log I was chopping with my ax, and I fell forward knocking off the log from the chopping block. The log had fallen on my leg. I listened to my uncle while rubbing my leg.
"Get up, get up. Don't lay about all day."
"My leg hurts, Uncle."
"Well you better get up, or else I'll give you some other body part to rub."
