GLASS

(haughtily)
I never open any package in my care.

Hutch fumbles with the envelope but it opens very easily. Hutch stares evilly at Glass. Glass looks at the ceiling. Hutch reads the note that was in the envelope and looks briefly at the necklace within.
Hutch considers his next move. He puts the envelope in his jacket and then pulls out a small package.

HUTCH

My master bids you to bring this package to him.

Glass takes the package eagerly.

GLASS

My fee?

Hutch pulls out a wad of cash and puts it on the table.
Glass reaches for it. Hutch stops Glass' hand before he can remove the money.

HUTCH

I should be the one to deliver this. But my master thinks it is safer to send it with you.
(beat)
Make no mistake I will shoot you if you fail. Bad luck or no.

Hutch pats his gun with his other hand. Then lets go of Glass' hand. Glass throws his cards down and gets up to leave.

HUTCH (con't)

And don't look in the package.

Glass frowns then leaves in the same manner as he entered, nervously looking all around.
Hutch takes the necklace from the envelope and puts it on.
