THE TEACHERS SHOVE EACH OTHER TO GET IN FRONT OF GARY WITH SHOUTS OF PILLS, DIODES, BOOKS AND HEADACHE MIXED IN.

JANE

Quiet! Right, as teachers all you need to know is that kids are like squirrels, if you feed them once they keep coming back.

THE TEACHERS ALL LOOK CONFUSED AS JANE LEAVES. THEN THE TEACHERS ALL SHOVE AGAIN AND MARY ENDS UP AT THE FRONT.

MARY

I was here first. I want Johnny to take his pills.

GARY

Actually Mitch was here first.

EVERYONE LOOKS AT MITCH.

MITCH (TO GARY)

I think I can solve her problem.

(BEAT)
Just let me have this Johnny for one hour each morning. I'll have him so exhausted that he won't even be able to twitch in her class.

MARY'S EYES TWINKLE. THE OTHER'S SCRATCH THEIR HEADS FOR A SECOND.
